Once By Morris Gleitzman

Once By Morris Gleitzman

Blurb:

Everybody deserves to have
something good in their life.
         At least once.

Prediction:

I think that this story will be about how a Jewish boy who flees away to find his parents, but on the way he finds the Nazis and gets into more trouble.

Summary:

So far I have read that this boy has lived in an orphanage run by nuns and has been there for 3 years and 8 months the year is 1942. He has found a whole carrot in his soup and thinks it is a message from his parents which are Jewish booksellers and have left him there to be safe from the Nazis. He plans to flee from the orphanage and find his parents.

Relate:

Sadako has been friends with a girl since Kindergarten just like Kade and me!

Reflect:

Why did the author decide to make a book about this true story?
What inspired you to write this book?

Review:

The book was ok and a little exiting so I'd give it a 2 1/2 ⭐️

Once Prediction:

Maybe a poor little family we're going alright when the Nazis start a war which doesn't help them so they have to move possibly!
